Hi,

I'm Simon the founder and Lead Coach at PROJECT FIfT.

I am a fully qualified FA Licensed Coach and also hold qualifications in Mental Health & Wellbeing and Personal Training, Health & Nutrition as well as an enhanced DBS check. I have coached with Brighton & Hove Albion, was involved in youth football up to County U18 level and am currently Assistant Manager of a mens adult team.  

I recently turned 50 and decided to start PROJECT FIfT to encourage people in my age range as well as those both older and younger to get out and use football fitness sessions as a fun and slightly different way of getting fitter and stronger.

I have been involved in football for as long as I can remember and know the joy and benefits it can bring from a health, fitness and mental wellbeing perspective and while many hang their boots up when their playing days are over it doesn't have to be the end. Just because you are no longer actively involved in playing competitively doesn't mean you can't still get out and kick a ball whilst enjoying the many benefits of exercise at the same time.

So whether you are a seasoned player or someone who has never played before my aim is to provide you with fun and challenging sessions that progress at a level you are comfortable with whilst encouraging you to push that little bit further to achieve your goals.

The hardest part is always the initial commitment but rest assured it will be worth it.
